SPECTACLE LUNATIQUE: A 20th Anniversary Celebration THANK YOU!

This year, Redmoon entertained over 400 guests with an evening of uproarious music, striking pageantry, and strange ephemera – all in celebration of 20 years of engineering wonder!

Lunatique guests were treated to tastings from the finest chefs in Chicago while experiencing Redmoon’s distinct brand of ephemera throughout the spaces of Redmoon Central.

Artistic Director Frank Maugeri spoke about Redmoon’s future artistic and civic initiatives—showing our supporters the exciting plans Redmoon will embark on in 2010 and 2011. The evening ended in a culminating in a performance of the momentary opera and Redmoon’s Astronaut—a special sneak peak at the 2010 Spectacle Astronaut’s Birthday!

Redmoon Theater’s 20th Annual Spectacle Lunatique raised over $140,000 to support Redmoon’s future artistic and community initiatives, like our collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art for Spectacle 2010: Astronaut’s Birthday, and our first ever Redmoon Festival, which will bring back Redmoon’s most loved spectacle performance Last of My Species: The Fearless Songs of Laarna Cortaan.

We could not have accomplished such a successful event without the generous support of our Planning Committee:
